Oppo R7 images and video show off an edge to edge screen

Seems like the Chinese manufacturers are really pulling out all the stops, as these leaked images of the supposed 5.5-inch Oppo R7 showcases a practically edge to edge screen.

The device is set to sport a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT 6795 processor as well as a rather huge 20.7 megapixel rear camera. Rumour has it that it would be a high end device and that it would be just 4.87 inches thick. The phone is likely to suffer some in terms of battery being that thin, but till an actual launch it’s still speculation at best. Oppo is also apparently using some patented tech to achieve that edge-to-edge screen by diffracting light in such a way that the phone has the illusion of having little to no bezel.

Check out the video below to see the screen in action.
