Xiaomi’s entry-level Redmi 2 is now available on contract with Digi’s new Smart Plans that offers either more voice or more data. To recap on the Redmi 2, this RM449 entry level smart phone offers a 4.7″ HD 720p screen, Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage that’s expandable with microSD. It also gets a 8MP main + 2MP front camera, along with a 2,200mAh capacity battery.
The free Redmi 2 bundling is applicable for SmartPlan 108 and 148. Below is the full pricing with 24 months contract:

As usual, you would need to fork out an advance payment along with a month subscription during sign up. This amounts from RM180 to its full retail price of RM449 during sign up. For EPP, the bundling price is cheaper since you are charged the full 24 month subscription onto your credit card.
