Google has released a new handwriting keyboard for Android, aptly named Google Handwriting Input.
The app will run on any device sporting Ice Cream Sandwich and up, with support for both cursive and print writing. Once downloaded you can switch it out with your regular keyboard and it sports the same styling as the Google Keyboard so you’ll feel right at home. You even have the option to swap back and forth from your regular keyboard on the fly.
In a nutshell, the app will allow you to enter emojis by drawing and it’s apparently great for languages that are difficult to type on with a standard keyboard. It’s also a neat alternative to touchscreen typing or voice input plus Google claims it’s capable of handling even the ugliest of handwriting.
If you want to check it out for yourself, you can download it free at the Google Play store, though it seems to not be available for Malaysian users yet but you can still get it via an APK downloader.
