Xiaomi has two events scheduled for April, one for the 23rd and one for tomorrow, with the former likely to be for the Xiaomi Mi 4i and the latter could very well be for a new Redmi phone, the Xiaomi H3Y which could very well be the Redmi Note 2. We still don’t know what exactly Xiaomi’s trasport product is going to be but they’ve announced today that they have dealings with Ninebot and Segway so it’s likely to be something along those lines in the future.
Twitter leaker @upleaks has revelaled the H3Y’s basic specs and this will be including a 1080p screen, MediaTek MT6795 chipset as well as launch with MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
It will also feature a 13 megapixel camera from Samsung (S5K3m2) and a 5 megapixel front snapper from OmniVision (OV5670). The smartphone will also be sporting a Full HD display and generally has specs that are similar to what is rumoured to be under the hood of the Redmi Note 2 with the exception of an upgraded screen and chipset.
