Xiaomi is launching a new Mi Smart Phone in India

After introducing the flagship Mi Note, Xiaomi will be announcing a new smart phone on 23rd April 2015 in New Delhi. This is Xiaomi’s first smart phone launch that’s held outside of China. No doubt this will be a significant device that’s targeted for the international market. The event is going to be huge as Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun, President Bin Lin and VP for Xiaomi Global Hugo Barra would be there as well.

Its tagline “i is coming” is still a huge question mark. Could this be a new product range that’s different from the standard Mi and Redmi series? Following the Redmi 2 and the Mi Note, we are guessing this could be a replacement of the Redmi Note which is due for a replacement.

We’ll be at New Delhi for the launch, so follow us on Twitter and Facebook for the latest coverage.
