The HTC One M9 has some known camera issues after HTC dropped their UltraPixel tech in favour of a 20MP BSI Sensor. Fortunately, HTC is going to be releasing an update that will address the issue.
HTC America’s president Jason Mackenzie confirmed the update on Twitter, and the update is expected to roll out in the US between April 10th to the 17th. Hopefully it will fix the luminance and HDR issues (which now look to be completely software based) that plague the camera.
The guys over at Phandroid have given the camera a test pre and post update so you can check it out to get an idea of the difference the update makes or check out our hands on of the HTC One M9.
