HTC One M9+ and One E9+ officially announced

HTC has announced two more new devices, the One M9+ and the One E9+ that comes with a higher Quad HD resolution displays. Both devices were launched in Beijing and it could be making its way to other markets in Asia.

Following the launch of the HTC One M9 flagship at MWC 2015, the One M9+ is a step up with a slightly larger 5.2″ display that does a much higher 2560×1440 pixels resolution. Instead of Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon 810 processor, it runs on a 2.2GHz MediaTek MT6795 Octa-core processor that comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. Camera wise, it remains unchanged with a 20MP main duo camera and a front facing 4MP Ultrapixel camera. While it looks the same as the all metal HTC One M9, the M9+ gets a fingerprint scanner that doubles up as a home button. Like the One M9, it gets 3 colours – Silver, Gold and Gunmetal Grey.

Meanwhile the HTC One E9+ is a slightly bigger device with a 5.5″ display that also does Quad HD resolution and it runs on a similar MediaTek MT6795 processor. Being a notch below the M9+, it gets 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which is also expandable. You can read up more details from our earlier post.
