Huawei will be unveiling its new P8 flagship smart phone next week on 15th April in London. To drum up more interest ahead of launch, they have just released its teaser video which doesn’t tell much about the device. Instead it features a mysterious guy walking around stealing lights from everyone he passes by. This could be an indication of better low light camera capabilities.
From its initial leaks, the new P8 would still feature its iconic slim design with a metal frame design which could be 6.6mm thick. In terms of specs, it is likely to carry a more compact 5.2″ screen that does Full HD and powering it is a newer Kirin 935 processor that’s mated to 3GB of RAM. From what we’ve experienced with the latest Honor smart phones, Huawei’s in-house Kirin processor are getting more competent to give the more established processors like Qualcomm a run for their money.
Like the new Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, it could come with 32GB of on-board storage and a possible 2,600mAh capacity battery that boasts longer battery life with better power management. Both front and back are expected to be made out of glass which could be toughen with the latest Gorilla Glass 4. It is also rumoured that it could carry a fingerprint scanner at the back, similar to its Ascend Mate 7 phablet.
Watch the official teaser after the break.
