Maxis working with leading device manufacturers to produce a screen protector that lets you taste pictures of food

Before having a sumptuous meal, most people today would bless their food by snapping a picture. Sharing photos of food is great, but what if you taste them from your smart phone? Now Maxis claims to be able to finally merge gastronomy and technology with this nifty little accessory.

Introducing the new Screen Savour. It works like a screen protector and it support a variety of smart phones and tablets. Once installed, you can get a taste of your picture by simply licking on the screen. Want to sample a dish before placing an order? Just snap a picture and taste away. Now you can taste all that tasty looking #foodporn pics that people share on instagram.

If you’re interested to get a taste of it, Maxis will be giving out 100 Screen Savours starting this week. Just be among the first 100 customers that order a device from the Maxis Online Store between 1-7 April. For more information on the Screen Savour, you can check out their official site here.

In case you didn’t know, Maxis will be starting its pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge on 3rd April. The first 1,000 customers will get a free wireless charger and a screen protector worth RM280.
