Samsung Galaxy Tab S starts receiving Android 5.0.2 Lollipop

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablet is getting Android 5.0.2 Lollipop rolled out in multiple regions. and the update is already live in the US, Canada and France; though only on the Wi-Fi variant.

From what we can tell, the final version of the update won’t be too different in terms of features and improvements that the latest OS brings, inclusive of an updated UX with Material Design touches, lockscreen notifications and improved performance. Users in the US will be getting the update as a 930MB OTA package while other regions will have to wait for the OTA to show up, upgrade using Kies or download it and flash it manually.

We don’t know yet when we’ll be getting the update, but it shouldn’t be too long considering how fast Samsung is updating it’s device lineup.

Check out the video after the break.
