More HTC One M9 Plus details surfaced

The HTC One M9 appears to be a mere incremental update over the One M8. If you’re looking for something more, the rumoured One M9 Plus is slowly becoming a reality as leakster @onleaks have shared a couple of more details of the new model.

His new purported render reveals a slightly bigger device but not by a lot since it is rumoured to carry a slightly bigger 5.2″ screen. What’s interesting is the back where the main camera gets a larger camera module that’s accompanied by a secondary camera. Could this be a more photographic centric device with a hardware based selective focus feature?

Over at the front, the One M9 Plus is alleged to have a fingerprint scanner that’s embedded on a home button. To be honest, the Samsung-like physical button seems out of place especially where it splits the bottom BoomSound speaker grill into half. @onleaks also added that the dimensions are reported to be 150.9mm x 72.5mm x 10.15mm, which is slightly bigger than the One M9’s 144.6mm x 69.7mm x 9.6mm dimensions.

Probably the biggest thing to expect is the speculated Quad HD 5.2″ display, which would make this the first Quad HD smart phone from HTC. As always, take these new info with a pinch of salt as @onleaks claims that these are based on prototype units that he has seen so far. You can check out the earlier leaked photos of an early HTC One M9 Plus prototype that was caught without a secondary camera at the rear.
