The Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact are getting their Lollipop updates alongside a firmware update in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Sony originally planned to release it last month and they’ve overshot their initial date but we’re just happy that it has finally landed.
Android 5.0 is included in the update and brings a handful of new features to users, including a new interface based on Material Design, a new lock screen, profiles and a guest mode as well as the ability to ship apps to an SD card. We’re expecting to see more countries getting the update as time goes on, with ours hopefully soon.
