Of all the devices debuted at MWC this year, the LG G3 and LG Watch Urbane have stolen the show; named the best smartwatch and smartphone seen at the convention by multiple top tier media outlets.
The LG G3 has been critically acclaimed and is carried by over 170 of LG’s partners across the globe, with the smartphone sporting a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) display that boasts a pixel density of 538ppi. It runs on a 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB RAM, 32GB Storage and has a 13MP main camera with OIS and Laser AF and a 2.1MP front camera. With a 3,000mAh removable battery, the LG G3 is one of the lightest 5.5″ smart phone at 149 grams and has a thickness of 8.9mm.
On the smartwatch front, the LG Watch Urbane and Watch Urbane LTE were named best smartwatch of the show, by prominent technology media outlets Android Authority, Android Central, Ubergizmo and PC Pro for it’s classic design and analog flavour. The Watch Urbane LTE is also the world’s first LTE smartwatch, and received best-of-show recognition as well as the first ever smartwatch to include an NFC-based payment feature on top of having the most powerful battery in the industry.
