Microsoft accidentally outs two Windows Phones ahead of time

A day before they were supposed to hold their press event at MWC 2015, Microsoft’s news center accidentally published a blank article announcing the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL, two new Windows Phones devices. The article has since been removed.

Rumours have indicated that Microsoft will be launching two new low-end devices and these could very well be it. Leaked specs seem to suggest that the Lumia 640 would be a 5 inch device with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage that’s powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor. The leak also claims that the device will have an 8 megapixel camera at the phone’s rear and a 1 megapixel camera at the front.

Nothing much is known about the Lumia 640 XL except the fact that it’s likely to be larger than the 640 model. We won’t know for certain till the press event hits.
