Maxis offers the Samsung Galaxy A7 from RM588

If you’re looking for a slim phablet, the latest Samsung Galaxy A7 is now available on contract with Maxis. This 5.5″ Full HD device is the largest of the Galaxy A series and it carries a retail price tag of RM1,499.

The full bundled pricing for the Galaxy A7 are as follows for 24 months duration:

MaxisONE Plan Lite (1GB – RM78/month) – RM999
MaxisONE Plan (2GB – RM128/month) – RM799
MaxisONE Plan (3GB – RM158/month) – RM799 RM588 (CNY Promo)

With its current Chinese New year Double Prosperity offer, the Galaxy A7 can be yours at RM588 and you’ll get an extra 1GB of data Free for 6 months if opt for an extra 1GB with your MaxisOne Plan for RM30/month. During sign up, you’ll need to pay an advance payment equivalent to 4 months subscription, which will be rebated back to your monthly bill usage.

To recap on the specs, the Galaxy A7 features a 5.5″ Full HD Super AMOLED display that’s wrapped around in a unibody metal design. Powering the device is an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM and it also comes with 16GB of storage that’s expandable with microSD. For imaging, it gets a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front shooter, similar to the Galaxy A5. The Galaxy A7 is also the thinnest Samsung smart phone to date at 6.3mm, and that’s despite having a 2,600mAh capacity battery underneath.
