Official HTC Nexus 9 available for pre-order in Malaysia

You just got your Nexus 6, and not you want to complete your Nexus set with a HTC Nexus 9 tablet, right? Well, you can pre-order one from StoreKini.com.

For RM99, you can secure a unit with StoreKini, the retailer is selling the device (4G LTE version) for RM1,999 with some additional freebies thrown in to sweeten the deal. If you’re wondering, the Malaysia pricing is cheaper than the US$599 asking price if you get the device from the States, considering the units being sold by StoreKini are official units and come with a 1-year local warranty.

The Nexus 9 features an 8.9-inch 2048×1536 (281ppi), Gorilla Glass 3 display which is similar in resolution with the iPad mini, Nokia N1 and Xiaomi Mi Pad but the screen on the Nexus 9 is slightly bigger. The tablet comes with HTC’ trademark BoomSound stereo speakers at the front and is powered by a 64-bit 2.3GHz Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset that’s mated to 2GB of RAM with 32GB of on board storage. For taking pictures, there’s an 8MP f/2.4 camera with assisted LED flash at the rear while the front gets a 1.6MP f/2.4 unit. You also get NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11ac and GPS as well as a 6,700mAh battery.

Being a Nexus device, the tablet gets the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, naturally.
