Xiaomi to launch Redmi Note 2 on January 15?

This Thursday, Xiaomi will be launching its new flagship device and it looks like they could be launching another smart phone model. The other device could be their new Redmi Note 2 which is larger in display but yet thinner in size. If this is true, Xiaomi is kicking off 2015 with a full revamp after announcing its new Redmi 2 smart phone.

In a word puzzle teaser, it also hints hifi-sound and an all glass lamination. Recently it was also rumoured that Xiaomi could be having a new device with a curved glass back. Like previous Xiaomi events, they might also introduced another “one more thing” product like how it did with the Mi TV and Mi Band.

To follow the announcement, Xiaomi will be broadcasting its event live for the first time. You can view it either on Mi’s official website or through their Weibo account. It is happening this Thursday, 15th January at 2PM (Malaysia/Beijing time).
