Apart from its Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro and P90 smart phones, Lenovo has also announced its Vibe Band VB10 smart wearable at CES 2015. Featuring a 1.43″ E-Ink display and a claimed 7 day battery life, the Vibe Band VB10 looks like a cross mix between a Pebble and Sony’s SmartBand Talk.
The front black and white e-ink display does a decent 296×128 pixels resolution like the SmartBand Talk and it is also waterproof with IPX7 rating. Functionality wise, it is quite basic with multiple watchfaces, fitness monitoring and notifications. It connects to Android devices using Bluetooth 4.0 and it charges with a micro USB cable.
The Vibe Band will be sold starting in April for US$89 (about RM316). As comparison, the Sony SmartBand Talk is now available in Malaysia for RM579 and it gets extra functionality of making and receiving phone calls from your wrist.
