Xiaomi has started the new year with its new Redmi 2 smart phone that offers dual-SIM and 4G LTE for less than RM400 (699 CNY). While the biggest change lies on its overall dimensions, processor, front facing camera and a bigger battery, the 8MP camera appears to be unchanged with an 8MP camera sensor from Omnivision with f/2.2 aperture and 28mm angle lens.
To show off its camera capabilities, Xiaomi has released a couple of sample photos taken with the Redmi 2 which you can view after the break. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can check out our previous camera comparison between the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, Redmi 1S, Redmi Note and Honor 3C over here.
