HTC One M8 Lollipop update with Sense 6.0 gets previewed extensively

HTC is trying their best to roll out its latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update ahead of its 90 day promise. According to recent updates, their flagship HTC One M8 and One M7 could be getting it as early as next month.

If you’re wondering how it looks like, someone has managed to get their hands on a newer Android 5.0.1 build which has HTC Sense 6.0 skin running on top on top. As it runs with the same Sense 6.0 as the current KitKat version, the appearance is mostly unchanged. The main difference that’s noticeable so far is the home screen and its notification bar.

The animation appears to be refreshed too and the same goes with its multi-tasking interface that’s now in accordance to its Material Design guideline. Another new feature is its Easy Mode, that simplifies the experience for children or senior citizen. Such “easy interface” option has been quite popular with the Chinese smart phone brands like Xiaomi and Huawei.

Check out a couple of more screenshots and some walk-though videos after the break.
