Meizu has released a new Flyme OS software update to MX4 users in Malaysia which can be downloaded right now. Carrying the version number 4.0.4.1I, it offers a long list of bug fixes and improvements covering audio, camera WiFi, touch screen, GPS and battery life.

We’ve just started using the MX4 extensively this week and one of bigger issues plaguing our unit is its touch screen display. Sometimes the screen loses its multi-touch capabilities and it reacts strangely when you try to swipe or pinch to zoom. The only solution is to restart your phone. Hopefully the new update would fix this since it lists “Fix the occasional malfunction of the touch screen” in its change log.

To update your MX4, you can head over to Tools (folder) > Upgrade. It is advisable to use WiFi as the update is 638.6MB in size. Head after the break for the full Flyme OS 4.0.4.1I changelog.
