Lenovo Vibe X2 Malaysian launch happening next week

UPDATE: Lenovo Vibe X2 Malaysia is priced at RM1,199 in Malaysia for Dual-SIM version.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 with its striking tri-colour layered design will be launched in Malaysia next week, on 9th December. This is a new 5″ 4G LTE smart phone that comes with a premium metal exterior that’s only 7.27mm thick.

The front gets a 5″ Full HD display and underneath it runs on MediaTek’s True Octa-Core MT6595 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and is mated to 2GB of RAM. On-board it gets a generous 32GB of on-board storage which is non-expandable.

In the imaging department, there’s a 13MP main camera and a front facing 5MP camera that’s loaded with selfie-centric features. Probably the only limitation is its battery of just 2,300mAh capacity. However Lenovo has included a Battery Xtension accessory which can extend battery life up to 75% more. Out of the box, it runs on Android 4.4 with their latest Vibe UI 2.0 on top. The Vibe X2 is available in White, Gold, Red and Dark Grey. For Asia Pacific, we are likely to get the dual-SIM variant.

Check out its promo video and some hands-on photos of the Vibe X2 after the break.
