U Mobile offers Sony Xperia Z3 from RM999. Trade-in offers available

The waterproof Sony Xperia Z3 is now available on contract with U Mobile’s postpaid plans. As usual it is tied with 24 months period and the bundled pricing are as follows:

U Plus – 5GB Internet (RM138/month) – RM999
U88 – 3GB Internet (RM88/month) – RM1,579
U58 – 2GB Internet (RM58/month) – RM1,779

During sign up, there’s an upfront payment of 6 months subscription required. However if you sign up for auto-debit billing on credit card, you can get a waiver but this is only applicable on U Plus and U88 Plan.

If you have an existing device, U Mobile is also accepting trade-in where your old phone can fetch up to RM750. This will be used to offset the bundled pricing of the new Xperia Z3. Not only this an easier way to swap your smart phone, it is also safe thanks to U Mobile’s partnership with Blanco, a company that specialises in erasing data from smart devices.

To recap on the specs, the Xperia Z3 has a 5.2″ Full HD display and it is powered by a 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 with 3GB of RAM. On-board it has 16GB of storage which is expandable up to 128GB microSD. The camera is a similar 20.7MP shooter as before but its get a wider 25mm angle lens. Powering the device is a 3,100mAh capacity battery which can last up to 2 days with a single charge with average use. You can check out more details of the Xperia Z3 in our hands-on video.
