Pebble Smart Watch gets extra discounts for Black Friday

The Pebble smart watch that boast a week long battery life is getting a price cut for its Black Friday sales. The Pebble Steel is now offered at only US$150 (about RM505) while its original Pebble costs just US$79 (about RM266). That’s quite a slash considering the Pebble Steel was priced at US$249 when launched and it was US$100 more than the classic plastic-based Pebble.

The Pebble Smart Watch might be basic as it uses a non-touch enabled e-paper display, but what made it popular is its large collection of apps and its superior battery life. There’s a huge collection of watch faces available and they have also given it full time activity tracking with apps such as Jawbone UP and Misfit. The number of apps available is quite massive which can be added through its Pebble AppStore.

Both Pebbles are water resistant too with ATM 5 rating and the straps can be swapped easily as well. Unlike other smart watches, the Pebble works with any Android and iOS smart phone via Bluetooth. For Android users, they also have upgraded the Pebble app which now supports full notification like its iOS version.

If you’re interested, you can order it directly from Pebble. Take note it is happening from 27 November 2014 12:01am ET until 30 November 2014 11:59pm PT.
