SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive helps to free up more storage on your iPhone and iPad

So you’ve gotten an iPhone or an iPad and you probably regretted buying a 16GB version instead of the larger storage model. If you’re feeling stuck for extra space or have the need to transfer files quickly via USB, SanDisk has introduced its new iXpand Flash drive that comes with both full sized USB and lightning connector.

This works like the Ultra Dual USB drive for Android devices that support USB (OTG) On the Go.

When plugged in, you can transfer photos and videos to free up space on your iOS device. While on the go, you can watch high resolution movies on your iPhone or iPad directly from the iXpand Flash drive itself. For seamless backup, SanDisk has an iOS app which lets you sync photos and videos automatically when it’s plugged in. Since it uses lightning connector, the iXpand Flash drive supports iPhone 5 and above, or iPads starting from its 4th generation with Retina Display and the original iPad mini.

The 16GB iXpand Flash Drive costs US$59.99 (about RM200) while the 32GB capacity costs US$79.99 (about RM268). The biggest size is the 64GB Drive which is priced at US$119.99 (about RM400). For more information, you can check out their iXpand Flash Drive product page.
