Maxis claims that their mobile network is all new with upgraded equipment and overhauled internet backbone. From their findings through Neilsen, their new improved network is able to provide buffer-free YouTube streaming 96% of the time. To put their claims to the test, Maxis has kicked off its Man Vs Network series where its CTO, Morten Bangsgaard bets his life on their improved internet promise.
Their all new mobile network targets to reach 75% of the population by 2014 and they aim to deliver this consistent internet promise to all customers by 2015. You can watch the first episode after the break along with teasers of their next episodes.
You can find out more about their new revamped network over at Maxis’s website.
