Google’s Nexus devices will be receiving its Lollipop treat starting today. The Android 5.0 update covers the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. This came shortly after the Lollipop update announcements were made for non-nexus smart phones like the Moto G (2014) and LG G3.
If you’re using one of these devices, it should be arriving shortly via OTA (Over the air) update. Alternative if you can’t wait, you could flash it manually with the official images which can be downloaded from Google’s Developer site. Take note that this requires some technical know-how and it is recommended to backup all your files before proceeding with the update.
