Ada Apa Denga Cinta is an Indonesian movie that was quite a hit back in 2002. Now popular messenging app, LINE has brought the movie back to life with a special 10 minute sequel.
The story continues exactly 12 years later with both main characters Cinta (Dian Sastrowardoyo) and Rangga (Nicholas Saputra) living separate lives. Rangga who’s based in the US, suddenly had the opportunity to return back to Jakarta for a short working trip. That’s when he attempts to reconnect using LINE after losing contact for 12 years. At time of writing, AADC 2014 has already surpassed 2 million views.
