When Microsoft Devices introduced its latest Nokia Lumia 830 and Lumia 730/735, they had also announced its latest Lumia Denim software update that’s based on the latest Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1. Apart from the 3 new models, the Denim Update will be rolled out to existing Windows Phone 8 Lumia devices within this year in Q4.
Some of the major changes the update would bring include Live Folders, App Corner to segregate your application between work and play, SMS Merging, improved VPN and native Internet Explorer browser.
On top of that, they are also introducing Lumia Camera which will replace Nokia Camera with better camera experiences. To capture epic moments faster, you can take photos quickly from your pocket in just a matter of split seconds. It also brings new 4K video recording at 24fps and a new Rich Capture mode that lets you adjust the dynamic range after the picture is taken. On certain models such as the Lumia 930 and Lumia 1520, you can trigger Cortana by voice even when the phone is in sleep mode.
They have yet to release a full roll out schedule but based on the past Lumia Cyan Update, the update delivery should be quick across their Windows Phone 8 devices.
