UPDATE: Maxis updates that they will be offering the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus earlier on 6th November.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be officially launched in Malaysia on 6th November 2014 7th November 2014. In an official statement from Maxis, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be open for pre-orders starting next Friday, 31st October 2014 at their online store located at store.maxis.com.my.

If you don’t want to bother with the hassle of queuing, the online store would be the best option. On Maxis’s iPhone 6 page, they are doing a “Pre-Check” to gauge your readiness for online purchase (which sounds like another way of saying registering your interest).

It is just 17 more days, and the official units are worth the wait as it offers better peace of mind with local warranty. So if you’ve been waiting for the latest iPhone, which model will you get and in what colour?
