Apple Malaysia reduce prices for iPad Air and iPad mini

If you’re in the market for an iPad and don’t mind not having the latest, Apple has slashed its iPad Air and iPad mini pricing in Malaysia where you can pick one up from as low as RM1,279 and RM799 respectively.

The latest iPad pricing in Malaysia are as follows:

iPad Air
WiFi 16GB – RM1,279 RM1,599
WiFi 32GB – RM1,449 RM1,929
WiFi + Cellular 16GB – RM1,699 RM2,029
WiFi + Cellular 32GB – RM1,869 RM2,349

iPad mini 2 (Retina Display)
WiFi 16GB – RM969 RM1,279
WiFi 32GB – RM1,139 RM1,599
WiFi + Cellular 16GB – RM1,399 RM1,699
WiFi + Cellular 32GB – RM1,569 RM2,029

iPad mini
WiFi 16GB – RM799 RM999
WiFi + Cellular 16GB – RM1,229 RM1,399

The prices above are compared with last year’s official Malaysian pricing for the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display.

The iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3 were just announced a few moments ago. While the iPad Air 2 gets improved hardware in an ulta-thin 6.1mm body, there’s hardly any changes on the iPad mini 3 except for its Touch ID sensor. For those prefer a smaller iPad, it is better to save the money and get the iPad mini 2 instead.
