If you’ve been distracted by bendgate, there’s always the wicked drop test for smart phones. Just so you know that the Galaxy Note 4 with its metal frame is strong enough to withstand accidental abuses, Samsung has released an official video showcasing their own drop tests.
Apart from the usual drops from various heights, the Galaxy Note 4 has to endure repeated drops onto hard surfaces and a tumble test to simulate being dropped down on a long flight of stairs. As you would expect, the Galaxy Note 4 is shown to be working after such extreme situations. Last week, they demonstrated its durability against bending situations including sitting down with over 100kg of weight on the device placed in the back pocket.
