Maxis to start online orders of its #NextBigThing

UPDATE 3: iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be officially available in Malaysia on 7th November. Pre-orders start 31st October.

Maxis continues to arouse curiosity around its #NextBigThing which is likely to be the latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Following its obvious teaser and random apple gifts, we can safely eliminate the Galaxy Note 4 from the equation.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Note 4 Malaysian launch has already been announced for 15th October and Maxis has already mentioned that it is coming soon on their network. Besides, the tagline for the Galaxy Note 4 is #morethanbig.

Going back to the recent teaser, and if it is indeed the iPhone 6, it looks like Malaysians can pre-order for one online without the hassle of long queues. The next question is when exactly? Both China and India have commenced pre-orders and it will be officially available on 17th October.

Are we getting it on the same day? It could be possible, considering the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has already passed SIRIM certification 2 weeks ago. Another strong indication is the drop of prices for imported units where it is being sold lower than the expected retail price. Just a few weeks back, the iPhone 6 Plus could fetch as high as RM7,500-8,000 but you can get one now for less than RM3,200.

Let’s see what happens in this coming Friday. In case you missed it, even SenQ has teased both devices are coming soon to their stores.

Thanks @JaronYap for the tip!
