Also announced today is the Huawei Honor Tablet, a compact 8″ tablet which is capable of making phone calls and SMS. Pre-orders will start beginning 29th September at RM599 through Vmall.my.
The front 8″ display uses a IPS panel and it pushes a decent resolution of 1280×800. Powering the device is a Quad-Core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor that’s mated to 1GB RAM and it has 16GB of storage on-board.
It also gets a 5MP rear camera and a front facing VGA camera. The Honor Tablet has a metal alloy unibody design and it is slender at only 7.9mm thick. With a 4,800mAh capacity battery on-board, it weighs 360g. In terms of connectivity, it supports 3G HSPA+ with speeds up to 42Mbps. Out of the box, the Honor Tablet runs on Android 4.3 with Emotion UI 1.6.
