The 5.5″ Redmi Note is now available on contract with DiGi’s Smart Plans. Retailing at RM509, it is offered for free if you sign up with 24 months contract of Smart Plan 108 which comes with 5GB of data.
The full Redmi Note bundled pricing are as follows:
DG SmartPlan 78 (24 months) – RM169
DG SmartPlan 108 (24 months) – RM0
During sign up, DiGi is asking for 1 month subscription fee and an upfront payment of RM360 (Smart Plan 78) or RM528 (Smart Plan 108). If you have been an active DiGi postpaid subscriber for the last 12 months, they will waive the advance payment for you. In addition, DiGi is also offering extra RM30 rebate that’s reflected on the 2nd month bill.
To recap on the specs, the Redmi Note is Xiaomi’s affordable phablet with a 5.5″ HD 720p screen, an Octa-Core 1.7GHz processor with 2GB RAM, 8GB of on-board storage and a large 3,200mAh capacity battery.
