DiGi says its network is now all new

DiGi has been revamping its network for the longest time. It was an ambitious project that aims to build what they call, the Tomorrow Network. With several years in the making, it was as if tomorrow would never come.

Finally it looks like the wait is over, as DiGi claims that their all new network is ready to deliver its consistent internet promise. To date they have upgraded over 6,300 sites which offers 82% 3G coverage with HSPA+ and they aim to bring this up to 86% by end of 2014. For 4G LTE, they have expanded their coverage across the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, Kampar and Kota Kinabalu. By year end, DiGi says they will have at least 1,500 sites delivering 4G LTE connectivity.

DiGi has just released a video explaining their progress and what they plan to do to deliver the best internet experience. Head after the break to watch it.

DiGi subscribers, what do you think of DiGi’s “new network”? Any noticeable improvements or is it the same old thing?
