Microsoft Surface Pro 3 officially launched in Malaysia

The Surface Pro 3 is now officially in Malaysia and Microsoft is calling it the tablet that can replace your laptop. It is available now with a choice of 5 configurations and the pricing are as follows:

Core i3, 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage – RM2,729
Core i5, 4GB RAM + 128GB Storage – RM3,299
Core i5, 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage – RM4,199
Core i7, 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage – RM4,999
Core i7, 8GB RAM + 512GB Storage – RM6,779

The Surface Pro 3 is sold through a network of retailers which include Aone Plus Supplies & Services, Harvey Norman, Machanics, PC Image, Senheng, SenQ, SNS Network, Thunder Math and Viewnet Computer System. For better productivity, you can get the Surface Pro Type cover that’s priced at RM409. The additional Surface Pen meanwhile is going for RM139.

To recap on the specs, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is better than before with a larger 12″ 2160×1440 resolution display and it is now slimmer at just 9.1mm while weighing just 800 grams. Being a Surface Pro, it runs on the full fledged Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro. The kickstand now is much improved with flexible angles to suit different needs.
