HTC teases new Desire 820 with 64-bit Octa-Core processor

After releasing its HTC One E8 and Butterfly 2, HTC is now putting the spotlight on its desire series. HTC China has been dropping a couple of hints in the past few days and the latest teaser above confirms that the new Desire 820 would be the first smart phone with a 64-bit Octa-Core processor.

Nothing else has been revealed except for the date 4th of September, which is when they will announce the device. If the device is using Qualcomm’s processor, this could be their new Snapdragon 615 with 8x Cortex A53 cores. it is possible that HTC could be using MediaTek’s MT6795 that can run 8 cores simultaneously up to 2.2GHz and record slow-mo videos up to 480fps.

Check out HTC’s teaser of world’s first after the break.
