Sony Xperia T3 from as low as RM599 with Maxis

Sony’s ultra-slim Xperia T3 is now offered on contract with Maxis. This mid-tier 4G LTE smart phone is priced at RM1,399 outright and with Maxis current Raya promotion, it can be yours for just RM599. To recap on the specs, the Xperia T3 features a 5.3″ HD 720p display with a Quad-Core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 processor that’s mated to 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of storage. Even with a decent 2,500mAh capacity battery, the Xperia T3 is only 7mm thick. You can read up more on the device in our announcement post.

In terms of bundling, the device is tied with 24 months contract on their new MaxisOne Plan which offers limitless talk and SMS.

MaxisOne Plan Lite – 1GB (RM78/month) – RM799
MaxisOne Plan – 2GB (RM128/month) – RM599

By default, the MaxisOne Plan comes with 2GB of internet quota. If you top up additional 1GB for RM30/month, they are giving additional RM10 monthly rebate during the 24 months contract period. Essentially your extra internet quota add-on would cost RM20 for 1GB.

During sign up you would need to pay 4 months subscription fee as advance payment, which Maxis will rebate to your monthly bill. This calculates to RM312 for MaxisOne Plan Lite and RM512. Maxis will waive the advance payment if you’ve been an active Maxis subscriber for 1 year or you’re porting in from another telco.
