Nokia Lumia 520 gets Lumia Cyan Update

The Nokia Lumia 520 is finally receiving the latest Lumia Cyan Update. This brings last year’s entry level device up to speed with the latest Windows Phone 8.1 that comes with Action Centre and WordFlow keyboard. It is being pushed through OTA update (Over the Air) and you can check for it manually under Settings > Phone update.

Things are looking brighter for the Windows Phone platform. Not only they are closing in with the app gap with over 300,000 apps to date, but they appear to be consistent when it comes to software update. So far the Nokia Lumia 625, Lumia 925, Lumia 1020, Lumia 1320 and Lumia 1520 has gotten the update and it shouldn’t take too long for the Lumia 525, 620, 720, 820 and 920 to receive theirs.

If you’re looking for an affordable Windows Phone 8.1 device, you can check out the recently announced Lumia 530 Dual-SIM that’s priced at RM355. Find out what we think in our Lumia 530 hands-on.
