If you love music, listen up. Guvera, a new online music streaming service is now available in Malaysia offering unlimited free music streaming on any device. While it is natural to compare Guvera with Spotify, the Guvera experience is a little different.
While most streaming service offers the conventional track-based playback, Guvera stands out as a music discovery service. As you would expect, the free streaming is supported by ads and the good thing is there’s no monthly limit. So you get to enjoy non-stop music without worrying about that 20 hour monthly barrier. For full control over your music, you can subscribe to Guvera Platinium which offers a full on-demand experience. The subscription cost RM14.99 a month which gives you the option to listen offline and it plays without supporting ads. One of the key differentiator is that Guvera lets you customise your music selection depending on your current mood and activity, and there’s even the option to search for music based on hashtags.
While the music is programmed globally, Guvera adds a local flavour to their selection with localised playlist which includes local artists such as Joe Flizzow, SonaOne and Faizal Tahir. Their music library is quite extensive as well with global agreements with top music labels including Sony, Universal Music, One Stop Music and Kartel Records
