U Mobile offers Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 from RM1,269

If you’re looking to buy a Quad HD tablet that’s ultra-thin, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4″ can be yours from as low as RM1,269 via U Mobile. As part of their Limited Time Merdeka Promo, they are also giving away a free exclusive tablet cover when you sign up on contract with their Unlimited 50 and Unlimited 80 Postpaid plan.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is priced at RM1,699 outright and it offers a stunning 8.4″ Super AMOLED display that does 2560×1600 pixels resolution. Powering the device is an Exynos 5 Octa-Core processor with 3GB of RAM and it boast a thickness of just 6.6mm.

On either plan options, the Galaxy Tab S is tied with a 12 months contract with a choice of U50 and U80 which comes bundled with 2GB and 3GB mobile internet respectively. If you subscribe with credit card auto-billing, the upfront payment of RM250 (U50) or RM240 (U80) applies which will be rebated back to your monthly bills.

At the bottom of the table, you’ll notice there’s an extra RM10 charge per month and that’s for the additional SIM card which is required for this promo. The additional SIM lets you share your monthly quota with additional devices which is similar to Maxis’s Share’n’Surf.
