Sony Xperia T3

The Sony Xperia T3 smart phone with its ultra slim 7mm body is now available in Malaysia. The mid-tier premium 4G LTE smart phone can be yours at RM1,399 and is available in a choice of White, Black and Purple colours. To recap on the specs, the Xperia T3 gets a 5.3″ Triluminos display that does 1280×720 pixels resolution and it runs on a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor which also supports 4G LTE. It is mated with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of on-board storage which can be expanded with microSD card.

For taking pictures, the Xperia T3 gets a 8MP Exmor R sensor at the rear which comes with a wide variety of shooting modes like its flagship offering. For videos, it supports Full HD 1080p resolution and it is further enhanced with its Steadyshot stabilisation feature. Meanwhile, selfies are handled by its front facing 1.1MP shooter. Keeping the lights on for the Xperia T3 is a decent 2,500mAh capacity battery which gives it an overall weight of 148 grams.

If you’re looking for something bigger, there’s the Xperia T2 Ultra which is cheaper at RM1,299. It has a larger 6″ display with the same HD 720p resolution and the internals are quite identical too with a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of storage and it supports 4G LTE as well. The rear camera is bigger at 13MP and so is the battery at 3,000mAh. Compared to the more upmarket Xperia T3, the Xperia T2 Ultra feels more plasticky and it is slightly thicker at 7.65mm. The Sony Xperia T3 is now available for purchase at Sony’s Online Store. For more information, head over to Sony Xperia T3’s product page.
