Huawei releases special Ascend P7 edition for the true Gunners fan

Huawei is the official smart phone of the Arsenal football club and after 6 months into the partnership, they have announced its Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition. At the back of the device, you’ll find the Arsenal crest printed underneath its Gorilla Glass 3 protected panel and everything else is pretty much the same as the standard Ascend P7. On the software front, it gets a special edition Arsenal Football themes along with pre-installed football apps including FIFA 2014, BBC iPlayer and Yakatak Soccer.

Just to reiterate the specs, the Ascend P7 is one of the slimmest 4G LTE smartphone at 6.5mm thick and it gets a Full HD 5″ display in a premium body that’s held together with an aluminium frame. Underneath its slender profile is Huawei’s in-house Quad-Core 1.8GHz Kirin 910T processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. The cameras on the Ascend P7 stands out with a 13MP BSI unit with 5-piece ISP lens and f/2.0 aperture size while the front gets a massive 8MP shooter that is able to take impressive panorama selfies. You can find out what we think of the Ascend P7 in our hands-on video during its Malaysian launch.

For the true gunners fan, you might need to wait as the availability and pricing has yet to be revealed. If you’re really looking forward to get one, you can register your interest over at their Arsenal Smart Phone website over here.
