Maxis revises Fair Use Policy on MaxisONE Plan. Now with true unlimited calls and SMS

The MaxisOne Plan is specially designed for those who talk and SMS a lot as it offers limitless calls and SMS for a worry free experience. When it was announced, the plan had a Fair Use Policy which caps usage to 3,000 call minutes and 3,000 SMS per month.

If you talk for more than 50 hours a month and if you find such Fair Use policy being a hurdle, Maxis has finally removed its monthly caps on both MaxisOne and MaxisOne Lite postpaid plans. So now you can call all day and all night for 30 days a month without worrying about hitting the limit. According to its T&C, the limitless voice calls and SMS applies to all numbers excluding video calls, calls to special numbers, 1-300 or 1-800 numbers and 121. Maxis also reserves the right to disconnect or suspend if they suspect fraud or unusual habits with your account. For those on the lower MaxisOne Plan lite, the limitless usage is applicable to Maxis to Maxis numbers only.

To recap on the plans, the MaxisOne Plan of RM128/month gives you limitless talk and SMS to any number in Malaysia and it comes with 2GB of mobile data. If most of your contacts are on Maxis, there’s a cheaper alternative with the MaxisOne Plan Lite at RM78 which offers limitless talk within Maxis Network. it also comes with mobile internet of 1GB. For those who consume data a lot, the MaxisOne plan is quite costly to top up as it charges RM30/month for each additional GB required.

You can get more details in our MaxisOne Plan post or visit their website over here.
