UPDATE: OnePlus clarified that the photo is a fake. Thanks @baliriot for the update!
OnePlus had created quite a stir with its high-performance low-price offering with its OnePlus One smart phone. Now rumours are starting to roll in that OnePlus might release its own Android tablet. The so called discovery cropped up when a new “OnePlus Tab” is shown in an alleged upcoming website design. For all we know, this is could be a sample mock up design.
If they do, this comes as a surprise considering its supposed parent company, Oppo has yet to release a tablet of their own. The OnePlus One resembles very closely with the Oppo Find 7 with the exception of its Quad HD display.
In the 16 countries where it is officially available, the OnePlus One is sold at $299 for the 16GB model and $349 for its higher capacity 64GB version. If you’re planning to get a unit of your own, a couple of grey importers are offering it now for less than RM1,300.
