DiGi offers rebate to Mi 3 buyers that have yet to receive their orders

DiGi was the first telco in Malaysia to offer the Xiaomi Mi 3 on both postpaid and prepaid bundles. When the Mi 3 was launched locally, it went on sale at RM889. Just recently Xiaomi had reduced the price of its hot-selling smart phone to RM769.

It is understood there are cusomters who have ordered their Mi 3 through DiGi and have yet to receive their device. Some are getting irate to find their new purchase had just dropped in price even before receiving them. To address this issue, the folks at DiGi had sent an email to its Mi 3 buyers that they will be offering additional RM110 rebate which will go into their 2nd bill. So far there’s no word on its stock delivery but DiGi assures that they are working hard to get it delivered soon.

UPDATE: According to DiGi, the device will be shipped on 30th June, which is 3 days after its original shipment date.

If you’re interested to get the Xiaomi Mi 3 without contract, it is going on sale tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12PM. To get to know the device better, check out our hands-on of the Mi 3 here.
