The LG G3 is not only new with their hardware but they have also revamped its user interface with a flat and minimalistic design. To explain its design principles, LG has released a 3 minute long video on its new user interface.
With mobile screens becoming clearer thanks to high resolution displays, most smart phone makers tend to put more details on its native icons and apps to emphasize on screen quality. After time, this doesn’t seem to be a good idea as the experience gets cluttered. Even with the LG G3’s Quad HD display, they have decided to focus on better usability with greater emphasis of content.
Its latest UI uses a unique design style which employs light fonts, flat graphics and circular motifs which are similar to Apple’s iOS 7. To take a step further, they even use “mature-feeling” colours for a more toned down look so that the content doesn’t get overpowered. You can watch the LG G3 UI video after the break.
