Sony lets you broadcast live videos over YouTube with the Xperia Z2

Smart Phones have enabled everyone to share epic moments through social media. If uploading pictures isn’t real-time enough, the Sony Xperia Z2 is now capable of live streaming over YouTube. This allows you to share epic moments in real time video either publicly or within a private group.

Previously Sony had a similar feature called Social Live on the Xperia Z1. While the idea is good, it requires a separate Facebook app which isn’t as accessible as YouTube that’s more widely available.

The YouTube Live feature is exclusively available for the Xperia Z2 and you can download the “Live On YouTube” app from the Google Play Store.
