Purported iPhone 6 production unit leaked

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6 is due in a couple of months time and its alleged production unit has appeared online. According to the source, the images are credible as it was obtained from a reliable source in China.

The overall design follows the similar slim and rounded edge approach as their current iPad Air and iPad mini. From certain angles, it does look like the very first iPhone which came with a metal back. The TouchID fingerprint scanner that was introduced on the iPhone 5S is retained but the rear camera is seen with just a single instead of two LED assisted flash. As you would expect, the new model is expected to be bigger in display and comes with thinner bezels for better single handed use.

Apart from this “standard” iPhone model, Apple is said to be releasing a larger “Note” version which is rumoured to have a larger 5.5″ screen. If such speculation is true, they are doing very un-Apple things that certainly won’t be allowed during Steve Jobs era. Check out the rest of the pictures after the break.
